Dear covenant family,

The shouts: ‘Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’ were heard in the streets of Jerusalem. Thousands welcomed what they thought would be an earthly Ruler of the nation Israel, yet He turned out a week later to become the servant of all mankind. Jesus was never afraid of that term ‘servant’; illustrated by his choice of riding on a donkey. This is so different from us today. The call is given to become leaders, movers and shakers, but who speaks about being servants? Maybe it is because we are missing the point. Jesus was aware of the incredible power and opportunity that being a servant brought. Come and join us this Palm Sunday as we unpack the awesome benefits of being called: ‘Being Gods Servant’.

Good Friday and Easter
April 6 - Communion service on Good Friday at 6 p.m.
April 8 - Breakfast at 9.30. Everyone is encouraged to sign up to bring either juice, fruit, casserole, bread/biscuit or sweets. Sign up sheet available in lobby or call Linda Davis at 756-4154.
At 10.45 Easter Service. We hope to have children performances, a skit, special music, testimony and a Gospel Presentation. This service is designed to be family-friendly, visitor welcoming and Gospel Presenting. This is a great time to bring the entire family and invite your friends. Let’s pray that God would bring folks to a saving knowledge of himself.
We may end our Easter Celebration with a church wide family event at 12.00. More details will be available next week. Contact Darlene Berg if you want to help.
