April 11,2012

Dear covenant family,

“Be all you can be in the army’. It may be no surprise to you that the recruitment videos don’t tell the entire story. What looks like a thrilling adventure - flying in planes and rescuing people, ignores the mundane task that everyone knows needs to be done also. Who’ll luck out to do that? Those in God’s army know a different ‘recruitment video’. He also calls us into a radically different life, but lived out in a unique way. Can you imagine Jesus being stressed out about feeding five thousand people? Or frustrated about that guy Zacheus who climbed in a tree and interrupted his mission? No, his life was marked with peace, joy and love as He knew one thing: God was at work around Him; accomplishing His purpose; and Jesus simply followed. Come this Sunday to find out how a life of peace, joy and love, instead of stress and frustration, can be yours in serving Him as we discover: ‘God is at work around you’

Easter - Thank you

A big thank you to all of you for your help with Easter. Much appreciation to all those who did help folks find parking space, welcomed them to our church family, stuffed eggs, decorated, mowed the lawn, did children presentations, nursery, special music, testimonies, sound, blinding windows, moving chairs and tables during services, helped set up breakfast and ….. came to eat (something we are very good at!) Thank you! You are a wonderful church family. May God get all the Glory through what He has done! God has answered our prayers: many lives were touched by His Love working through all of us!
