Dear covenant family, This Sunday is Mother’s Day. It makes me thankful for my wife Kari and also lets me reflect on my mom who passed away 13 years ago. She had a profound impact on me – that continues until today. This Sunday I have selected 3 ways in which she impacted our family. As I looked at Scripture, I was blessed to discover that a mother’s influence reflects the very way God reaches out to us. This is no surprise, as she is ‘created in His image’ – bearing His fingerprint in everything she does. So this Sunday may all of us (mothers and non-mothers) be inspired as we discover Gods image-bearing call on our lives. No Small Group on Mother’s Day – we encourage you to spend time with your family and friends. Prayer & Praise Requests: Tina (& Caleb) Dyer – recovering from pheunomia. Coughing affected her muscles, causing some pain. Currently on antibiotics and doing better.
