Dear covenant family, God’s Glory reminds me of a rain shower I witnessed the other day in my back yard. It’s dry. The leaves are falling off the trees. It looks like fall. What did that rain sound and feel good! Asking for God’s Glory is very much like desiring rain in a thirsty land. Moses wanted it. This Sunday we will continue to look at Moses who changed from a ‘reluctant follower’ in Exodus 3 to a ‘passionate worshiper’ in Exodus 33 and 34. Moses asks God at the end of his life to ‘show me your glory’. Come and find out this Sunday how this can transform your life in ‘The show-me state of mind’. Scrapbooking Scrapbooking is cancelled for July, due to the fact that many are out of town. We will start again August 11th. Contact Chrystal Huebschen (772-8025) for more information. Vacation Bible School Skate Park We will again be helping with Young Faith in Christ’s Vacation Bible School at the Farmington Skate Park on Monday July 23. We are looking for folks who will bring one or more of the following: cookies, drinks, sandwiches and/or other snacks to bless the kids. Contact Naomi (747-6882) if you want to help. July 22 – 25 Men Fishing and Camping Trip Black River Sign up by contacting Steve Vollertsen – 330-6009. What to bring: tents, bedding, floating device for being on the water, fishing poles and accessories, foldable chairs, flashlight/lanterns, plates, cups, silverware. For food: bring enough for your family – we will share our food together. Firewood is provided. Bring camping stove, pans, utensils and other camping gear if available, as these can be shared with all. Requests: Velma left on vacation July 11 and will be home on August 10. Velma writes: I should be in about eleven different European countries. The first two weeks I will be with a girlfriend. The last two weeks it will be just me and God. I would ask for prayers for safety and good health.
