November 7, 2012

Dear Covenant family,

We look forward to having Bill Younker with us this Sunday. Bill is one of our missionaries as he pastors the International Community Church in Columbia, MO. This ministry reaches out to international students with the Gospel. Bill was also the pastor of Covenant Bible Church before moving to Columbia in 2009, and it will be great to see him again this Sunday. Bill will share with us a report of how God is touching lives of international students and will bring our Sunday message as well.

Memorial Giving this Christmas

With the Christmas Cantata being performed, we’d like to have poinsettias placed in front of the choir while singing. If you give $10 per honoree, our designated decorator will purchase the plants and place them in the sanctuary. We would ask that the money and names of honorees be given before the 1st Sunday in December to Allyson or Naomi.  Wanda will print some nice cards to designate the honoree and the person who donated funds.

Samaritan Purse shoe boxes

This Saturday the shoe boxes will be assembled at CBC at 10 am. On Sunday completed shoe boxes will be collected with a $7 shipping fee.
