Dear Covenant family,

 

Have you seen the images of the Mars Rover “Curiosity”?  All alone, on the planet’s landscape the Rover tries to unravel new truths. I am so glad that we are not alone in discovering all that God has for us. Last week we saw that Elizabeth spent 5 months alone in seclusion, as she contemplated God’s Mercy. This Sunday she leaves her seclusion and joins Mary. The two of them have a great time as they encourage each other in amazing ways. It’s an inspiring story of how you and I can lift each other up. Join us this Sunday (2nd Sunday of Advent) as we look at “Shared Mercy”.

We will also get a first taste of Christmas with a Christmas Special by five year old Rosie Pierce, a children’s message by Jennifer Stone and the Call to Worship by Randy Stringer.

 

Growth Group kick off:

 

We plan to start the New Year off right with a church wide Growth Group kick off on Sunday, January 6^th, immediately after the service. Bring a potluck lunch. The Growth Groups will start after the service. We will keep you posted with more information in the weeks to come.

 

Children Christmas Practice

 

Sat Dec 15^th at 11:30 a.m. there will be a practice for girls ages 3 - 12 at church for the song they will perform on Sunday December 23rd

 

Children Worker Meeting

 

Saturday, December 15^th at 2:00 p.m. there will be a meeting for Children's church workers at Velma Baldwin's house – 67 Pheasant, Hunter’s Ridge, Farmington – 518-1937.
