Dear Covenant family,
Call to Worship: Be
filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual
songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to
God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ’ –
Ephesians 5:18-20
“I am singing in the rain”, although popular as a movie and
song, seems highly unlikely and irrational. Singing in the Rain? We typically
run from the rain – or hide from it! Singing in the rain is what worship does.
When it ‘rains’ all around us, worship makes us sing, rejoice and look up while
people around us would expect us to be depressed, run and hide. Want to see our
culture transformed? Try walking around in it with worship on your lips, in
your mind and on your heart. How do you do that? Come and find out this Sunday!
