Dear Covenant family,

 

Jesus said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." Mark 6:31

 

I thank God for you! As I sit here in the church, contemplating what to write to you in this week of fasting, thanksgiving comes to mind. Thank you for praying. Thank you for fasting. Thank you for looking beyond the walls of our church and your comfort to consider those who haven’t heard the Gospel. I can’t wait for Saturday! I’m asking that the Lord would meet us in a fresh way. For Kari and me it has been an encouraging time as we start the day off by seeking him together for you as a church. I pray you will be refreshed by His Presence and His Goodness. May He give us a new vision for your personal ‘net’ and our corporate ‘nets’ also. Receive and Enjoy His call this week: ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest..  See you Saturday at 9 am!

(As in other years, we expect to be done between 3 and 4 pm Lord Willing.)
