Dear Covenant family,

 

Teach me your way, O Lord and I will walk in your truth;

This Sunday it’s time to cast our nets! I just got the ‘official’ list from International Community Church and we are expecting about 30 guests this Sunday. A big thank you to all of you who opened your homes! This would be impossible without you. Would you pray with me that God would ‘teach them His Way’ so they can ‘walk in His Truth’. Thank you again for opening your hearts and homes! I am honored to be your pastor. Look forward to Sunday.

 

Updated Pick Up Schedule Times & dietary needs

Expect your guests to arrive around 5.45 pm on Saturday at Fredericktown, 6.15 at the Berg residence for Central Growth Group host homes and 6.30 p.m. at CBC for our ‘northerners’. Many of you have asked if there are any dietary restrictions. Most of them are Chinese, which means no dietary restrictions. Put your pork steaks on the grill…..

 

Our Sunday schedule:

9.30 – Brunch with international students (during Sunday School) – please bring a dish to share

10.45 – International Service. Guest Speaker Bill Younker

 

Prayer and Praise Reports:

Gwen Slater had a doctor visit for her ear yesterday.  Pray for healing and right results of the culture they took. She expects to know results in about 2 weeks. Gwen is in good spirits.

Tom Shook’s father, John Shook, passed away earlier this week. Pray for the family, his dad didn’t know the Lord. Pray for salvation for family members.

Ferguson - Salem Evangelical Free Church and ‘The Kulture’ who are reaching out to the community. Pray for pastors Jeff Schulz and youth pastor Brycen Marner and their congregation who have asked for our prayers
