Dear Covenant family,

 

‘The man (royal official) took Jesus at His Word and departed’ – John 4: 50

 

I thank God for what He is doing among us at Covenant Bible Church, also this past Sunday. I came across this email that one of our church family sent me: ‘Angels were having a party, as a someone chose to follow Jesus.  Always a Glorious day!” I couldn’t agree more! Let’s pray for Troy in his new walk with Christ and for others that we may reach out to this week.

I also want to thank you for your kind words of appreciation this past Sunday; the card, your gifts and special night out for me and Kari. You are a wonderful church family and we truly feel very blessed and totally undeserving to serve you.

This Sunday we will continue our series ‘encounters with Jesus’ by meeting the ‘royal official’. His son was radically healed. His dad passed the test as he transitioned from being with the Fans of Jesus to live like a Follower of Jesus. His move had incredibly beautiful consequences. How about you? I pray that you may follow and experience the Lord in a fresh way this Sunday!

Al Gainer had appendix taken out Monday (laparoscopic), recovering at home – doing well

Ann Bratberg’s sister – stage 4 pancreatic cancer

Dick Slater’s son Dennis – given 2 months to live

Gwen Slater – Recovered well from lasic eye surgery

Kevin van Raalten – healing broken arm is going well according to doctor

Dick Slater, Mildred Stringer, Norm Smith, Lilly

‘Cast Our Nets’ – May He continue to lead and direct us, including outreach for teens, follow up with new believers, and Christmas initiatives.
