Dear Covenant family,

 

‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation’ – Mark 16:15

 

When Neil Armstrong set out to be the first man on the moon he knew His Mission, His available Methods and His Challenges. Without a clear understanding of what he was to do, how he would do it and what obstacles he would face, his mission would have been impossible. The same applies to us as we follow God’s Mission: We have to know our Call, Our Methods and Our Warfare. This Sunday we will start with Our Call, as we take a closer look at the Great Commission. In the next two weeks we will look at our methods and the obstacles we will face in fulfilling His Mission for us as we cast our nets!

 

Ferguson Outreach

A date has been set for Saturday, July 11 for a full, one day outreach with Salem Evangelical Free Church. A tentative schedule of the day will be available in the church lobby and details of the day will be communicated in the services in the next few weeks.

 

Marco’s phone is fixed! Don’t ask how much it cost….but glad to be connected again.

 

Prayer and Praise Reports:

Al Gainer – PSI results not ideal. Further MRI research to be done.

Donna’s sons Chris and Jeremy lost their dad this past week. Pray for comfort for the family. Funeral Saturday at 3 pm at Moore Funeral Home in Irondale
