May 13, 2015

Dear Covenant family,

‘He will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full’ – John 10:9,10

This Sunday we will look at the Good Shepherd. I pray that this very familiar chapter in John will spur you on to expect more from Him, look more toward Him and walk in closer communion with Him!

Men’s Retreat – This Friday – 6 pm, through Saturday lunch

What to bring? Yourself and your best jokes, Folding Chair, Flash light, Hiking shoes (for those interested in hiking) Bedding (sheet, blanket, pillow, mattress) If you don’t have a mattress: There are a few couches and one mattress available.

Directions: From Hwy 67: Go south towards Fredericktown/Poplar Bluff. After about 4 miles from the Fredericktown exit, take Hwy E exit – going west (or right at the bottom of the exit ramp). Go for about 13 or 14 miles on Highway E (you will cross the St. Francois river first, then pass a saw mill, and you will see a church on your left; if you see Marble Creek and Marble Creek Campground you have gone too far). Make a right on County Road 515. After about a mile on 515, you will cross a low water bridge. After about 300 feet make a right onto a private road (you will immediately cross a low water bridge again) Follow that road to the end, it will lead you to the cabin. Cell phone reception may be limited at the cabin, but texting does work from time to time.

If your schedule does not allow you to join us for the entire weekend, feel free to come and leave as you have to. We look forward to see you, even if it is only for a part of it. We will be taking time to share from God’s Word together – speaking into each other’s lives with the Bible open, playing games, eating good food and having fun!
